Tonight, WWE presents Hell in a Cell LIVE on pay-per-view and of course WWE Network (where the event is included in your ($9.99 monthly subscription, making it a steal since the PPV is like $65).
Here are the matches announced for tonight’s big event:
Pre-show:
- Damien Sandow hosts Mizdow TV with special guest The Miz.
Hell in a Cell:
- Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins inside Hell in a Cell
- #1 Contender’s Match: Randy Orton vs. John Cena inside Hell in a Cell
- Intercontinental Championship Match: Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. Cesaro in a 2-out-of-3 Falls match.
- United States Championship Match: Sheamus (c) vs. The Miz
- Tag Team Championship Match: Gold and Stardust (c) vs. The Uso’s
- Diva’s Championship Match: AJ Lee (c) vs. Paige
- Rusev vs. Big Show
- Nikki Bella vs. Brie Bella. Loser must be the winner’s personal assistant for 30 days, or quit the company.
Hell in a Cell airs at 7pm CT (pre-show begins at 6:00) on WWE Network and PPV.
Smith’s Sentiment: The build up for most of the matches may not have been the best in the world, and in a lot of cases these are simply matches we’ve already seen a hundred times on free TV already, but the card looks really good. The Bella match is the only one that will likely be bad. Everything else should be, at the very least, extremely solid. That means tonight’s show should be very good.
For as much as I am looking forward to seeing Ambrose and Rollins lock up inside the cell, I think the match I am most looking forward to is Cesaro and Ziggler. Big fan of Ziggler, and Cesaro has long been one of my absolute favorites. I’ve always loved a good old-school, traditional 2-out-of-3 Falls match, and so I couldn’t be happier to see one featuring two of WWE’s brighest stars.
